Christina Matos: "24 Hours with the American Red Cross"

Christina Matos -- Emergency Communications Representative American Red Cross Greater New York Region: Christina's shift is normally about eight hours, but she comes into work at midnight. Working in the middle of the night is not easy. During her shift she can run between having to monitor four to six fires, people being vacated out of their homes, water main breaks, and weather emergencies.

She has always wanted to work with a group of people that wants to help others, and to improve the wellness and happiness of other people. And that's exactly what the Red Cross does everyday.
