Michael Youssef’s ministry is reporting the miracle-working power of Christ in the Middle East.

Cee Harmon’s insight:

After watching Leading The Way’s satellite TV channel, ISIS leader (Muhammad) had a plan, according to Michael Youssef’s ministry.  That plan: to kill a member of Leading the Way’s follow-up team.

According to the ministry, Peter (member of Michael Yousseff’s ministry team) met with Muhammad and boldly proclaimed the gospel to him. After they parted ways, the ministry reports, God continued to speak to Muhammad, revealing Himself in a dream and bringing great conviction upon him.

Research poll: What reasons would draw Americans to church? Survey reveals

Image: Pixabay

Poll on Church Attendance:  If invited by a friend, Americans who don't go to church said they would attend an event to help make a neighborhood safer that is sponsored by a local Christian church rather than go to a worship service, a survey said. A total of 67 percent said they are unlikely to attend church regularly sometime in the near future.

When asked the reason why they decided not to attend church regularly, 25 percent said they only attended because their parents wanted them to; 23 percent said they lost interest, and 21 percent said they were turned off by the moral stances of the church. Twenty percent said they lost trust in the church and 20 percent said they got too busy in their life.

Liberty University Commencement 2016 with Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn

Liberty University Commencement 2016: Hollywood Actors Vince Vaughn and Mel Gibson both took the stage to address more than 19,000 graduates at Liberty’s commencement. They were also joined by reality television star Willie Robertson of “Duck Dynasty”.

Colleges typically use commencements as a chance to showcase their academic bona fides by inviting well-known thought leaders and nationally known politicians to speak. But Liberty has never pretended to be an academic powerhouse.

Robertson, the “Duck Dynasty” star whose son is a student at Liberty University, addressed the crowd with his homespun Southern accent while wearing an American flag bandana. “Be infectious around people with a positive attitude of Christ,” said Robertson.

The 2016 commencement shows it can attract A-list Hollywood actors, television personalities, and sports stars too. The ability to leverage influencers from both the entertainment and political sectors is impressive.  See full story...http://religionnews.com/2016/05/15/vince-vaughn-and-mel-gibson-headlined-liberty-universitys-commencement-heres-why-it-matters/
